Too Faced Primed and Poreless..... magical?

Good Morning Chicas!

As usual, I woke up with the damn cows and showered. I live in Ohio, and because of that. it was absolutly freezing. We got hit with a pretty big snow storm lastnight and an ice storm earlier in the day. Regardless, this isnt about my travels in blizzard like conditions. It is however about my love of beauty products. I am setting out on this journey to continuously review products. Mostly what I consider to be the "best", but there will be other not so good products as well. When I think something is hands down, amazing, it gets two thumbs up and 5 stars.

So on to the product of the day..... Too Faced Primed and Poreless Face Primer. Again, I have had this product that I am reviewing for quite some time and the packaging isnt always the best looking. So I have used a picture from their website. Because of this blog however, with all my future purchases, I will take pictures and swatches so I can show you.
I work in a pretty comfortable atmosphere. I have a desk job, and the climate is fairly nice. However, I tend to get hot easily. Ok, lets be real, I sweat a lot. Gross I know. But hey Im honest. I also work about 12 hours a day. I do not have time to touch up my makeup, and I need what I spend time putting on to last all day. To atleast get me through my work day. I do not have an oily face. actually for being 26, I have extremely dry / dehydrated skin. I also have an issue with makeup not lasting too long. I have tried a huge array of primers. From drug store to high end. (Mac, Tarte, Rimmel, Covergirl, BodyShop, Benefit, and Hourglass). I have finally found something that is "Holy Grail" status. The Primed and Poreless Face primer by Too Faced is awesome. It holds my makeup like no other. It has such a silky smooth texture, filling in my pores and fine lines. I am just amazed with Too Faced lately.

This picture is from the Official Too Faced Website ( www.toofaced.com )

Check out the official website above to read all of the claims on this product. I couldnt agree more with all of them!

Too Faced has several primers. I am so eager to try them all. Again this is another great product from a great company. So what does that mean?! Well this gets 5 stars and 2 thumbs up!

I have several other reviews that I will be posting in the coming days. Yes the last 2 have been reviews on products I highly recommend. However, will my reviews always be on products I recommend? I think you will need to stay tuned to see!!

Too Faced Brow Envy Kit = AMAZING!

Damn, Monday morning already?!?! Where does the weekend go?? Anyone do anything exciting? I must admit, the most exciting part of my weekend may have been re shaping my brows. I bought the Too Faced Brown Envy Kit which I forgot to take pictures of the before sticking my grubby hands in to the products. So I used the picture from the Too Face Official Website.

Brow Envy Shaping & Defining Kit

This kit is UNBELIEVABLE! I actually had it for some time and I either didn't know what I was doing. or was too lazy to take the time to figure things out. I love that this kit has EVERYTHING you could need to have the perfect shaped brows. From stencils, and wax, to brow powders, highlighters, tweezers and spoolie. It is definitely a kit that is worth the money. So now on to my furry caterpillars / eyebrows. I know they say that no one has two perfect shaped natual brows. But holy cow. I looked like two different people if you looked at me from either side. One brow was short and bushy with no arch, and the other was long, sparce, and high arch. There honestly was NOTHING similar about my brows. I would fill them in with a a brow pencil and set them with a little clear gel. I really wish I had someone tell me how ridiculous I looked. So I took about 20 minutes (yes, with this kit it took me less than 20 minutes to completely reshape and groom my brows!!!!! Perfect for a mommy! ) and used the stencil to  to fill in my brows. I had to figure out where to start the stemcil. I yused an extremely dark pencil and colored in where the stencil was. I then plucked everything outside of the dark hair. I did that on both sides. I then took a makeup remover cloth and wiped it off. Wa la!!! Awesome, even brows!!! I couldn't be happier. Getting in to the beauty community, I have always heard that brows help to frame your face. I was never big on that but now that I have this kit, and it did wonders on me, I am a huge fan of brows. I have even tried other brow products. The anastasia brow powder was pretty expensive and it honestly didn't compare to this.
This product gets 5 stars and two thumbs up without a doubt!!!

So is it lame that this was super exciting to me?! LOL! I hope you all have enjoyed your weekend and I will be back tomorrow with another amazing Too Faced product. Primed and Poreless Face Primer!

Is this hoarding.......

Good Morning Chicas!

So I woke up this morning (after hitting the snooze 4 or 5 times). I did the usual, make coffee, and head in to shower. I got out and sat at my makeup table. I thought hmmm, what eyeshadow palette do I want to use today? Naked, Naked 2, Lorac Pro, Wet N Wild, lots of options. I decided I was going to mix it up and used a little of each. Anyhow, I was just finishing my look and when I opened my drawer of mascaras, it was stuck. I thought "what the hell?" I began to shake the drawer, trying to et the contents inside to settle. (You know exactly what I mean lol) I began smacking the sides, and finally the damn drawer slid open. Yay!! Now to choose the mascara I want. I started looking at my options and I was digging around. Of course my most used are on top so I thought I would dig a little "deeper" and bring out an old favorite. Only problem is, I had about 17 "old favorites". I was a little taken back. Im usually in such a trance in the morning, I do the same thing every morning. Almost in repetition. I never paid much attention to the contents in the drawer. So I decided to dump out the drawer and count. I had 27 tubes of mascara. From things such as Covergirl an Maybelline, to Benefit and Dior. So my thoughts for this quick post this morning is how many is too many. Now I am well aware I should only keep mascara for 3 months from the time it is opened. So I am going to ditch what I have (except for the few I know are practically brand new) and start over. Maybe go buy a few old faves and test out some new ones. How many is too many to have in an everyday collection?

I will start adding reviews and pictures hopefully in my post tomorrow.  I want to know what else would you like to read on here? Just makeup related? Or also personal things? Yes this is my page and I can be as real as I want and add anything my little heart desires but I just want a few topics. I do hope you will stay tuned for more. Time for work. Have a great day!

First Time!

Deciding to start doing a "beauty blog" was a very hard descion. Well, maybe not hard, but it definitely is something I have dedicated myself to entirely. I try A LOT of makeup, I learn from a lot of makeup artists, I have done a lot of makeup, and most importantly I am passionate about it.

So how exactly do you start something like this? I don't believe there is any particular way and I just need to find my own groove. This is going to be totally real. It is just me! I need to start by telling you a little about myself.

I am a 26 year old single mom to an amazing 3 1/2 year old boy. I work a full time job and because of that, Lets just stick with Italian Bell as my name :) Hahaha. Once I get in tune with this, I will do videos, (makeup related) and also disclose more about myself personally. I am from a super small town. I have had a love for makeup for as long as I can remember. I use to take my moms old makeup (it was usually some crazy blue and pink eyeshadows. Oh the good ol 80's ) and my friends and I would play "makeover" on the weekends. I know some of you can relate. Don't be shy!! Sitting in my bedroom with my best girlfriend, playing barbie dolls, or house, and needing to put a ton of crazy makeup on (looking like we are about to join the circus ) when in reality we are playing the sexy mom or the wild college student. Wow am I the only one who played things like that?? Hmmm just join me and say no. Lol. So anyhow I went to highschool and college. I have always worked and after I had my son in June of 2009, I was home a lot. Well babies tend to sleep and I was looking for someting to pass my time. As if washing clothes, making formula, and napping wasnt enough. I took to YouTube. I became engrossed in watching and learning about makeup. It didnt take long before my own makeup collection grew. What was once able to fit in a teeny tiny 3 drawer, clear platic container, is now so big that I need multiple storage options. I have a passion for not only high end, but also drug store. I feel like I give a lot of advice to those around me. I work with about 200 women in an office setting and they have almost all at one time or another asked me to either give them tips, do their makeup, do their daughters makeup, or go with them to help them buy things. It is a good feeling when someone trusts you. Especially when it comes to your appearance. So I would like to spread my knowledge and also have viewers who can comment and share with me what they know. Tips, and tricks are more than welcome. So join me for my ride. When I decide to post videos,  I will announce it. Also, if there is something you would like reviewed, please feel free to leave a comment. I have quite a lot of ideas coming up. I hope you will stay tuned!!!
